Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the TimeSchool application, website, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Parent Responsibility
TimeSchool is intended to be configured and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Parents are responsible for setup, permissions, PIN management, and supervision of child usage.
2. Service Description
TimeSchool helps children earn limited screen time by solving math puzzles while parents control allowance and blocking settings.
3. Permissions and Compatibility
Core functionality relies on Apple device frameworks and permissions (including FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings). If permissions are unavailable, denied, or revoked, parts of the Service may not work.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
TimeSchool may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase (e.g., monthly and yearly plans).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before period end.
- Renewal may be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage/cancel subscriptions in Apple account settings.
- Any unused free-trial portion is forfeited after subscription purchase (if applicable).
5. Account and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your parent PIN and device access. You agree to provide accurate account details.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account using the in-app Delete Account flow in Settings. Deletion removes account data controlled by the Service, subject to legal retention obligations.
7. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent use.
- No attempts to interfere with app security or subscription checks.
- No unauthorized copying, resale, or exploitation of the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may depend on third-party platforms (e.g., Apple, Google Firebase, CloudKit). Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a specific purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeSchool is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
